update 2018:  well, we were not able to get much help that first Christmas, and to top it off, kiddos father decided to take advantage of how badly we were mentally suffering from the aftereffects of the divorce knowing we had no more strength to take him to court if he decided not to pay child support, so after turning off the utilities on us instead of transferring them, making us lose our old phone numbers, refusing to give us the password to unlock the main computer so that we would never be able to access any of the 11 years worth of videos, photographs, audio we had ever taken of kiddo, basically erasing all of kiddo's childhood, and after one hellish year that left kiddo and I both suffering from major mental and psychological trauma/ptsd, we slowly, ever so slowly inch our way to recovery trying to do what we can to not lose our home praying that kiddos father will connect to the caring heart he once had for us and will at least pay enough to help us not to lose our home and maybe help us pay off the debts he left us with.  in the meantime , we slowly learn to empower ourselves and recognize the importance and beauty of connection to the world around us, hoping that you out there will choose to become a part of our community and family sharing in the celebration of life with us. and us with you as you connect with us in the comments section to our blogs/vlogs.   Join our web of connection to you!
