update:  five years later I am not entirely sure what I was writing up there.    so I apparently wrote those notes back in 2013 as a reminder to myself of bits I wanted to remember if we kept doing archery.
Since we did not stay with that group that we were learning archery with (since I disliked being a part of any group that practices exclusion of any other group because of gender, age or for any other reason, since it's important to me to surround ourselves with people who actually care about getting EVERYONE's needs met for acceptance, appreiation and inclusion, and so we left that group as soon as we realized they practiced exclusion by gender), but it also means that we ended up not keeping up with the world of archery since at the time that was the only avenue we knew to do free archery.

We did eventually hear about some other groups eventually that did free archery, but alas, they were not on a bus route. And though we love the idea of loving archery, we just did not have the passion to try to find transportation out to where they praticed free archery, and then when the divorce happened, all life seemed to stand still.  Now we recover.  But maybe one day when finacial concerns are not such a struggle, we will find some time and energy to learn again. That would be nice to be able to do so.  And if ever win the lottery, maybe we will make it possible for more people to have access to such a fun sport.

If you have already won the lottery, maybe you will also consider donating either to our own indiviudal family or to helping others not only help have access to some basic health care, but also to some small bits of learning opportunities.  ideally better access to conflict resolution classes but also to small past times like archery or other small healthy activities..
