For kiddo esp, a large portion of his information comes from an assortment of incredible learning programs on youtube that provide way more insights and education then even i was exposed to in school. From kahn academy (a favorite of homeschoolers) to crash course.. well the list is endlesss. When he was three i used to plop him down in fromt of the MIT physics lectures done by this guy who explained physicsnin a really fun way.
Sometimes it is information overload, at least for me. Kiddo absorbs it all like a massive sponge. But i find he does retain it better when i let him chatter away to me afterwards.
. though much of what he is learning about he applies right away and its all much more applied learning as he goes. Which i personally believe is one of the best ways to learn.
